Another possible iOS device?
So the breakdown here is that this picture was taken from the App store of Apple. This hints at a new iOS device, but possibly could be just a coding error. This happened two months ahead of time of Apple's conference where "they will the company has said it is showing off "the future of iOS and Mac OS X". " As far as I can tell it is a possibility. Another new device or revealing of product specific apps will cause a great stir in the market place. If there are new apps for such as Apple TV, this just means that other companies will have competition. I'm really hoping for another iOS device or new product. Apple seems to do a good job of making people want to put money back into the circular flow of the economy. Hopefully the company will grow large enough to hire an insane amount of people to create more jobs. As of right now they are feeling backlash because of Japan and their lack of exports so jobs creating part will definitely be a big one.

What could this new product be? I think it could be a new variation on the Apple TV product they put out for a while. Perhaps now it will interface with media from all the other Apple devices to create a seamless transition between media on your mobile device and on your TV.
I think a new device is entirely plausible. I think if they were going to make a new Apple TV it would probably be something more like a Tivo where you could record shows instead of the previous Apple TV where you could only watch stuff from your iTunes. I also could see it being able to be controlled from your iPhone or iPad using WI-FI and 3G, which wouldn't be revolutionary but I'm sure it would sell.
Could a new OS actually create a large number of jobs? How?
A new iOS could definitely created another set of jobs for Apple but for the competitive companies as well. As we've seen before hand, Apple has reshaped many fronts in the technological world with their leading products such as the iPhone, iPad, and their apps/widgets. The rest of the companies are playing catch up, therefore to them to even come close to competing they have to open up jobs for people to do so.
I I totally agree with Garrett. I think that a new OS could definitely create new jobs. There's no telling what kind of new features migh be included in this new OS. I also think that there is a good chance that they will do something with Apple TV. If anyone can compete with Netflix on streaming ability, it's Apple.
